When I considered building a kayak I was more than a little apprehensive. After attending one of Graham's very informal classes I felt I might just be able to build something resembling a boat, perhaps even a kayak.

The Duet kit was a little daunting at first but the instructions were quite helpful and with continued attendance at Graham's boat building course things started to take shape - even a somewhat familiar shape. I'm enclosing some photos of the finished product at the hands of my sons, Darcy & Danny. Kudos to Waters Dancing as they haven't broken it yet.

Thank you so much for all the help over the past year, for answering all the stupid questions without making me feel like a total fool.

The final product whilst not perfect is a beautiful boat and a continuing source of pride and enjoyment for me.

Thank you for the help and encouragement to a first time kayak builder.

I may be back for a single kayak kit, but I will have to sneak it past my wife.  Also, I'm not sure I can get a longer boat out of the basement - we'll see.

Thank you

Pat McAllister
