Hi Guys!
I have been meaning to forward these photos of "Cicada" since last spring.  As you can see the boat is completed and has been in use since early spring.  I am a member of the Southern New England chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society, and entered it in our July boat show.  It attracted a lot of attention and inquiries and took a second in its class.  People were very interested in its construction and the process of construction.  The name. In Chinese philosophy the cicada is a symbol of rebirth.  And since the boat was built for a retired guy who planned to enjoy it everyday, what better name.

The kit was superb, the boat handles great and is lovely to watch move though the water.  Thanks for all your help and advise over the phone.
