Material is BS 1088 Okoume mahogany plywood.
Length 12', Beam 27", Cockpit (I.D.) 31&1/8" X 17.5", Depth 12.25", Weight 32 lbs.

Construction time 85 to 110 hours depending on whether customer builds it as a regular kayak or a take-a-part.

Front section is 40.25" long, centre section is 56.25", rear section is 47.5".  No tools required to join three sections.

for this beautiful take-a-part you are only limited by your imagination.  Store it in your apartment, house, cottage,

With a 27 inch beam the Lightning 12 is a very stable boat that tracks and turns beautifully. There is ample storage
space in her front and rear hatches and the low deck at the rear of the cockpit allows you to roll with ease.
